  We recently enjoyed a relaxing family holiday at Ratcliff Cottage. The home is comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the new appliances in the kitchen as we all love to cook! The split system air-conditioning instantly made the house toasty warm on cooler evenings. It was a pleasure to watch the sunrise over the lagoon and to eat outside on the terrace with Kangaroos grazing in the background. A lovely and peaceful oasis, surrounded with wildlife. We even saw dolphins! Highly recommended.

  This is a wildlife paradise. Ratcliff Cottage on the Pelican Lagoon Aquatic Reserve was just what is needed after a busy year. So peaceful and quiet, get away form it all, without a neighbour in sight and just the wildlife to keep you company. It was right on the water, with views from every room. Tastefully appointed, and super comfortable beds. Plenty of kangaroos on the property, they area big part of morning and late afternoon entertainment. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners, the kitchen was beautifully equipped, with pantry staples. Loved the rustic feel with all the mod cons, and watching flocks of birds tracking across the lagoon.
